Day 1: Sunday, June 30th, 2019

Day 2: Monday, July 1, 2019
A FULL DAY RAPPELLING TRAINING COURSE (certification received)
Rappelling and Rock Climbing Course at Dalton Cliff
YOU will learn how to use all the technical gear, and master all the ways of tying knots, ropes, carabiners, and of course we will cover safety. You will be a PRO at choosing anchors, safety checks and knot tying! Than we will take everything you just learned into HANDS ON practice at a beautiful cliff in the middle of the Biryah Forest. This special cliff has got the most amazing views of the Golan, the Hulah Valley, Mount Hermon, and the Galilee, our troopers get to set up their own ropes, rappel, and belay each other under supervision of their madrichim (Licensed Rappelling Guide). This full day of training will give you all the basics and the right foundation to be an ISRAEL EXTREME expert at Mastering the ROCKS, which is very useful for all the adventures we have waiting for you in the days to come.
Day 3: Tuesday, July 2, 2019
Water Sports on the Kinneret
Extreme Water Sports
Get ready for some serious water adventure fun with this option! A full afternoon of water sports, including banana boats, tubing, SUP, and more . After arriving at a beautiful private beach rich with shade from Eucalyptus trees, we will head out onto the Kinneret and hold on tight!!

Krav Maga PART 1
Strengthen your body, sharpen your mind, and boost your confidence through Krav Maga, the official hand-to-hand combat system of the Israeli Defense Forces. Led by an ex-special forces commander, our troopers will learn tactics that emphasize instinctive movements, practical techniques, and realistic training scenarios. Training will help campers develop an understanding of one’s surroundings, learn to understand the psychology of a street confrontation, identify potential threats before an attack occurs, and improve decision making skills. The program aims to increase personal power and decrease the risk of mental and physical assault through practical self-protection/defense techniques while promoting self-confidence, self-reliance, and empowerment.
We’ll finish the day with a sumptuous BBQ dinner and fire-pit kumzitz on the beach.
Day 4: Wednesday, July 3, 2019
Basic First-Aid Course PART 1
This course will ensure each of our troopers will know what to do in an emergency situation. They will learn techniques to ensure they remain calm and collected while under stressful circumstances, all the while assessing the situation and offering vital first-response assistance before more experienced help arrives.

Keshet Cave
Here we get to put that RAPPELLING course into ACTION! Keshet Cave is the most magnificent rappelling site in Israel! OUR newly trained troopers get to continue instruction of ropes and lead rappelling activities (under the supervision of madrichim) off the mammoth natural stone arch. We will sail through the air, surrounded by panoramic vistas from the highest point in the Western Galilee!

Ma’arat Nam’er (Cougar Cave)
Troopers will learn how to navigate through caves and will lead this expedition (under the supervision of madrichim) through maze-like passages, crawl spaces, vast chambers, and extraordinary natural sculptures within the belly of the earth just waiting to be discovered.
Day 5: Thursday, July 4, 2019
Wilderness Survival
A FULL DAY OF LIFE SURVIVAL SKILLS
Imagine wandering into the wilderness with nothing but the knowledge in your head, and living comfortably. We will learn how to build warm and comfortable natural shelters, find and purify water, find food, make fire from sticks, and make your own tools from nature. Leave that heavy backpack at home and learn to be free in the wild!

CAMP OUT in Biryah Forest
We will set up camp for a night outdoors in the Birya Forest, northern Israel’s largest forest. Surrounded by thickly planted pines, we will enjoy a BBQ and amazing night activities with a bonfire, stories, and music. (definitely one of our FAVORITE camp nights!)
Day 6: Friday, July 5th, 2019
ATVing
We will drive the ATVs on uneven and challenging ground, going up steep hills and down precipitous slopes as we head east through the forests of the Naftali Mountains, towards Keren Naftali – the highest peak in this chain of mountains. Get ready to experience SPEED and ADRENALINE!
WOW that was fun! Now its time to meet our soldiers and GIVE BACK!
IDF Lebanon Border Jeep Tour
Next we will take a journey behind the scenes, looking at life on the Lebanese border, “living an ordinary life under threat”. Campers will have the unique and rare opportunity to meet with I.D.F. combat soldiers at their military base, who are guarding the nearby Lebanese border. We will spend time in this closed military zone getting to know the combat soldiers, watching them up close and personal. We may even get a chance to climb onto a tank!
Prepare for Shabbat
Enjoy a traditional Shabbat dinner followed by a kumzitz. We will spend Shabbat hosting some of the IDF’s lone soldiers. We will spend time getting to know our guests, sharing stories and songs.
Day 7: Shabbat, July 6th, 2019
Walking tour of the Mystical City of Tzfat
We will explore the winding alleyways and cobblestone streets of the Old Jewish Quarter, take in the awe-inspiring views of Meron and the Kinneret (Sea of Galilee), and visit the Ancient Synagogues. We will hear miraculous stories of the War of Independence, when against the greatest of odds, with few weapons and vastly outnumbered, the Jewish people held onto the city.
We will explore what it means to be a Jew throughout history and in our generation, with a focus on the land of Israel and its historical connection to the Jewish people.
Saturday NIGHT we will continue our education and adventure!
Basic First-Aid Course PART 2
Night Hike with NIGHT VISION ONLY
After Havdalah we will use the stars as our lampposts as we learn how to navigate at night! We will learn how to carry “injured” troopers and how to use resources from nature to preform life saving techniques.
Day 8: Sunday, July 7th, 2019
TROOPERS GO TO ….
Horizontal Tarzan-style Rope Swinging & Spelunking at Alma Cave
First we start with the rope swing, which involves horizontal Tarzan-style jumping and flying through the air. Then we will descend into the vast cave, climbing down ladders and squeezing through small openings. As always, campers will take charge of ropes and navigating under the supervision of our madrichim.
MAJORS GO TO….
ABIRIM CAVE
Majors (our level 2returning campers) will first rappel over 100 feet down through a hole in the ground into a huge hall within the cave. By using ropes and gear throughout the cave, we maneuver around the obstacles, and avoid damaging this special cave. There is hiking, climbing, crawling and rappelling involved.
Troopers and Majors will than meet up and continue onto…

Continue building on the fundamentals and techniques learned on Day 3.
Day 9: Monday, July 8th, 2019
Via Feratta
Via Ferrata, (“Iron Path”) is an Italian term for an extremely fun sport that is new to Israel and can only be done here at this site! Our troopers will walk on the face of the rock by using cables, rungs, and metal handles, using an already built-in climbing course that is full of fun and adventure.

Day 10: Tuesday, July 9th, 2019
Black Canyon (Nakik Hashachor)
Israel’s BEST water hike! A full days of awesomeness. We start at 7am and have the Troopers lead us (under supervision of madrichim) on this unmarked hike in a closed national park. Once we enter the canyon we will be navigating through the jungle, not along paths, and most of the time we will be near or in water – from ankle to knee deep, including rappelling through three active waterfalls!

Day 11: Wednesday, July 10th, 2019
TROOPERS GO TO…
Tandem Paragliding
Experience the thrill of flying! You will glide on the air currents, suspended from your paraglider, relying only on the wind for an unforgettable, thrilling experience. Enjoy a bird’s eye view of sea air, sun, blue water, and blue skies from the seat of a tandem glider. You will be secured in a harness in front of your pilot and connected to the glider and to each other by spreader bars. Under supervision of your pilot, each camper will have the opportunity to take the controls and experience the sensation of flying a paraglider by yourself!

Enjoy the sunset while horseback riding a route high above the Sea of Galilee.
Day 12: Thursday, July 11th, 2019
Rappelling, Bungee Swoop, Commando Rope, and Swimming at Gesher B’not Ya’akov (Daughters of Jacob Bridge)
For real adrenaline junkies, we have the option to bungee swoop and rappel through the air off of this landmark bridge into the flowing Jordan River. Additionally, we will have exciting climbing competitions using the commando rope attached to the bridge.
Closing Ceremony
An opportunity to celebrate our campers’ accomplishments with a sumptuous dinner, presentations, and goodbyes.
