Nachal Tur Group Tour

Nachal Tur is one of the most impressive canyons in the Judean Desert. Its beautiful dry stream makes it a perfect site for successful canyoning. This tour combines both a charming hiking trail with great cliffs to experience abseiling. We invite you to join us for a canyoning experience of a lifetime! Which means - Following a route inside a dry river canyon that requires abseiling several times. Nachal Tur is located in the north of the Judean Desert, about 10 km north of Ein Gedi. This site is perfect for first-time Canyoneers.There are two levels... and you get to choose! 1. The Family Level (Lower Level): This is a circular route that begins and ends at the same point - This is a charming and beautiful canyon where we will experience rappelling. Keep in mind that the rappelling is mandatory and there is no way to opt out of rappelling in order to continue on your tour path. The rappelling is a treasured adventure that will be enjoyed by the whole family. Once you finish this tour, the next time you book a tour you can advance to higher levels of rappelling from different canyoning routes such as Qumran River, Rahaf River, Palm River, and Hatzon River.2. The Challenging Level (Upper Level): This is a non-circular route. We will start in the resort village of Dragot Cliffs and end on the Dead Sea Road. It is recommended to bring your car to the endpoint in order to save time. (we will help you with the logistics) This route lasts 6-7 hours. It includes 4 cliffs with the highest waterfall about 85 meters high! The route itself is not too long and it descends steeply from the top of the cliffside to the low levels of the Dead Sea. No matter what level you choose, the views will be spectacular, each level has a few different cliffs that allow each participant to improve their rappelling ability and technique. Get ready to experience real fun for the whole family!
