MATZOK GITTA (GITTA CLIFF)

We start the day on a via ferrata (Italian for “road with irons”), a mountain route which is equipped with fixed cables. We hike along the top of the cliff on a very narrow ledge, attached with ropes to the safety cables. This route ends in the middle of the cliff, and we rappel from there to the bottom, Here we can choose from the many climbing routes from beginner level to advanced.

"you are the best!!! My family really enjoyed the via ferrate, rappelling and rock climbing at Gitta Cliff! Maxime was a great guide and very patient. My nephew ended up joining us on the trip too, so there were nine of us. Despite how many people we were, our guide was attentive, courteous, kind, funny and extremely alert and aware of everything that was happening. Everyone had a GREAT day. Hiking boots are recommended, if you don’t own them, other sturdy closed shoes (sneakers) will be acceptable. Water shoes and sandals are not sturdy enough.
