Horseback Riding with Israel Extreme

We offer one-hour, two-hour, half-day rides and more. There is no galloping and the ride is calm and leisurely, you will feel very comfortable on your horse. Your guide’s first consideration is your comfort and the safety of the riders. After arriving at the ranch you will first learn how to ride and guide your horse before you go out on the trail. After you feel comfortable, off you go!

The horses are gentle and well-trained so anyone can ride. No prior horseback riding experience is necessary.

The maximum size of a group is kept to 15 riders, but we can also accommodate single riders and small groups.

Horseback riding can be an adventure on its own or can be added to many of our hiking, rappelling, and rock climbing adventures.

"Horse riding tour at Bat Ya'ar farm My dad and I went horse riding in the Biriya forest. We rode for 3 hours and we had the guide Alex to ourselves. The guide was wonderful and relaxed. My dad didn't have much experience riding horses, so we took it slow in the beginning. Things went well and we even trotted and galloped a lot! Beautiful scenery and everything was taken care of in advance by the IsraelExtreme team. 10/10 would recommend! Date of experience: April 2023"

"Horse Back Riding Israel Extreme has a bunch of activities that we were browsing through on their website. So when we came across the horseback riding option, I was ecstatic. Im an experienced rider, but my SO had never ridden before. We went on the Half day tour around the beautiful Kineret. It was quite obvious the tour guide REALLY knew what he was doing. Less experienced riders might not realize it, but its true. We were riding horses up and down rocky hills, trotting, cantering, the whole nine yards. I would not recommend the Half tour unless you are in great shape, and definitely not in the summer. There is a minor break in the middle where you can walk in the water where your horse has already gone and drank from. (the Kineret is a fresh water source). By the end, both my SO and I were exhausted even though we are both in good shape and training for army service. While someone inexperienced can ride during the half day tour, I would not recommend it. All in all, Israel extreme was attentive, helpful and polite. I would definitely contract through them again. Date of experience: June 2015"

Safety comes first, so not so much. The speed of the horses will be according to what you know and how comfortable you feel on the horse. The guide will decide on the spot. But generally there won’t be any galloping.
