Nahal Snir

Nahal Snir

This is a fun family hike through the Hatsbani River, the longest of the Jordan River and its tributaries. Nahal Snir found in a National Park takes you on a mini nature adventure; you will walk through the rushing water, pass waterfalls and wading pools and climb over stones and tree roots on this adventure. At some points, the water can reach your knees, and certain parts of the hike require the use of handholds. The handholds are there to ensure that you don’t slip and are not difficult at all. The National Park has a number of trails: the long trail is the most challenging but is still considered easy and is only 1.5 hours long. There is also a short trail which takes you to the waterfall and wading pool and is completely wheelchair accessible. There is also an intermediate trail takes about 30 minutes through the Snir River. This trail is equivalent to the long trail in fun and difficulty, requiring you to get wet, but it is much shorter.
