The Hexagon Pool

One of the most magnificent places in Israel is Breichat HaMeshushim – the Hexagon Pool − which combines magnificent six-sided cliffs with refreshing chilly waters.

We begin with a 20 minute hike down steps to a huge pool inside a lava formation of six sided columns. As you approach the water you will see brightly colored oleander, wild raspberry bushes, willow trees and Syrian ash. A swim in the Hexagon Pool and the waterfall surrounded by the hexagonal columns is truly a unique experience and certainly very refreshing. We end with a half hour hike back to the car.
