Timna Park

Timna Park is located in the Negev desert in southern Israel about twenty minutes north of Eilat. This is wonderful rock climbing site of sandstone in the middle of the desert. All levels of climbing, from beginner to advanced.

Hiking boots are recommended, if you don’t own them, other sturdy closed shoes (sneakers) will be acceptable. Water shoes and sandals are not sturdy enough.
Depends on the character of the child but usually it’s 5 years old and up.
No, you don’t have to have experience. There are a variety of different levels of rock climbing and you can always start with the easiest.
Once you have booked your tour with us, we will send you a confirmation and supply list email. It will have everything you should bring with you and it also has a link for driving directions to Timna Park.
No, there is no rappelling at Timna Park.
You have to have 2 guides to set up the rock climbing station. Since there is no access to the top by hiking and you do have to climb to set up the ropes, we are using the leading technique and for that, we need 2 guides.
