More about Via Ferrata:

Favored for its beauty, Ramim Cliff was chosen as the ideal location to introduce in Israel the Italian sport, Via Ferrata, which means "Iron Path". Our expedition begins with a downhill hike towards the magnificent cliff nicknamed "Liar Cliff." (ask your tour guide why!) The visual sensation while standing at the top of the cliff is absolutely breathtaking! After an exhilarating rappel to the bottom, we will sport Via Ferrata style back up to the top. This adventure will not only build your confidence, it will teach you what overcoming fears really means!

Birds Eye View:

Equipped with special gear from your guide, you'll trek the face of the rock using cables, rungs, and metal handles as you navigate a thrilling rope course. The Via Ferrata path leads to a spacious lookout offering a bird's-eye view of the surrounding scenery, including the Hula Valley, Mount Hermon, a chain of volcanic mountains, and a truly awe-inspiring visual expanse highlighting your time here in Israel.

Free Time Rock Climbing:

After the Via Ferrata course, you'll have time to rock climb at any level and pace you choose before continuing to a nearby ancient Crusader fortress, the Hunin Fortress. This well-hidden and impressive fortress features large rooms and massive stones that exude ancient history. During the summer, climbing down a ladder to a hidden water tank beneath the fortress offers a refreshing underground swim in cool water. Could there be a better way to end a hot summer day?!

"Great Fun with the Via Ferrata Great fun with the Via Ferrata. I did the Via Ferrata trip which involves rappelling, a Via Ferrata and rock climbing. A via Ferrata is basically assisted rock climbing, where there are metal rungs bolted into the rock to aid you. It enables you to climb vertical rock even if you are not a skilled rock climber. The views over the Hula Valley are amazing. The rock climbing location is perfect. There are many options for all skill levels. It’s a perfect place for a beginner to try rock climbing. My guide was Moskiko, who was great. I have some rock climbing experience, but I’m not particularly good at it. Moshiko challenged me with some difficult (for me) climbs and then we finished with an easier climb to cap off a great day. He then forwarded me some amazing pictures. I highly recommend this. Date of experience: January 2023"

"Via Feratta, Rappelling, and Climbing I participated in the group tour which included Via Feratta, rappelling, and rock climbing. I had previously done rappelling and climbing, but via feratta was new to me, and it was a blast! Our guides, Tomer and Lydia, were very knowledgeable and made sure everyone was having a great time. The views were great too. Date of experience: November 2021"

"Greatest Guides ever - Via Ferrata I was part of a group that did the Via Feratta, in Kibbutz Menara, what I was not aware of, was that my Asthma would make my life hell that day. The guides were incredible! Calm and helpful, allowed me to continue at my own pace (slowly) whilst keeping my spirits high and making me feel better. They never once made me feel that I was holding anyone back or that I was not capable. I would recommend Israel Extreme to anyone who is looking for a company one can rely on! Thank you for a great trip (even though the end wasn't) Date of experience: October 2021"
