Located in the picturesque Lower Galilee near Kibbutz Ravid, this challenging Via Ferrata route offers breathtaking views of valleys, and mountains: the Kinneret, Golan Heights, Safed, Mount Miron, Harbel Cliff, Mount Nitai and more.

Via Ferrata Ravid Israel Extreme

Embark on a half-hour walk to the starting point, where we'll equip ourselves with harnesses, helmets, and specialized Via Ferrata gear. Climbing and descending along the marked route secured by an iron cable, the journey takes approximately one to two hours, depending on your pace. After this exhilarating experience, we'll relax with tea or coffee before a half-hour stroll back to our starting point.

Rated as a level C route (on a scale from A to E), this Via Ferrata is currently the longest in Israel. The route is a testament to the dedication of Hagit Mishkin, part of the voluntary team that built it. Tragically, she was among those lost in the terrorist attack on 7/10.

"Fun experience of Via Fratta / rock climbing in North Israel My boyfriend and I did the snapling, via fratta and rock climbing package (5h) and it was an extraordinary experience in beautiful northern Israel! Special thanks to our guide Moshiko - who was professional, calm, knowledgeable, and knows how to guide different people based on their abilities. He also actively takes pictures and videos for us throughout the day so we didn't need to worry about dropping our phones or ourselves;) And Moshilo made tasty black coffee with his camping tools during our break and we had a great chat looking over the valley. Would certainly recommend it for couples/families/friends who want to do some unique and adventurous activities! Yes, you will have to get your harness tight and you should wear leggings and a shell under your regular shirt. The harness will go on under your skirt (make sure you have plenty of leg room in the skirt) and the shell is tucked into the leggings to make sure it doesn’t come up.
Hiking boots are recommended but closed sturdy sneakers will work. Water shoes are not sturdy enough and will not protect your feet appropriately.
