Israel Extreme considers making its website accessible to people with disabilities to be of paramount importance. An accessible website improves comfort and ease of use for people with disabilities.

The internet currently constitutes the largest repository for freedom of information for all users, and users with disabilities in particular. As such, we place great importance on providing equal opportunity for people with disabilities to use the information presented on the site and to enable a better browsing experience.

We strive to ensure that digital services are accessible to people with disabilities, driven by the belief that every person has the right to live with equality, dignity, comfort, and independence. To fulfill this promise, we strive to adhere as closely as possible to the recommendations of the Israeli Standard for Web Content Accessibility and the international WCAG 2.1 document.

The website provides a semantic structure for assistive technologies and supports the standard usage pattern for keyboard operation using the arrow keys, Enter, and Esc to exit menus and windows. How does the accessibility work on the website? An accessibility menu is placed on the website; clicking the menu allows opening the accessibility buttons. After selecting a topic in the menu, wait for the page to load. The software works in popular browsers: Chrome, Firefox, Safari, Opera.

Accessibility options in the menu:

• Keyboard navigation adaptation – enabling navigation via keyboard

• Screen reader adaptation – adapting the site for assistive technologies such as NVDA, JAWS

• Blocking flashes – stopping moving elements and blocking flashes

• Increasing the site font to 4 different sizes

• Contrast adjustments – changing the contrast of site colors

• Adapting the site for the color blind

• Changing the font to a more readable one

• Enlarging the cursor and changing its color to black or white

• Enlarging the display to about 200%
