"Awesome! Amazing way to see Israel, even if you've been there a bunch of times We did the bungee jumping/repelling from a bridge for a day, and then we did the black canyon hike. In both cases, all my kids ages 8-18 participated and we all had a wonderful, amazing, memorable time. The guides are patient, personable, smart and super professional, and a lot of fun to be around. The actual activities were challenging and fun, but we always felt safe. The black canyon is probably the best hike you will ever do in Israel -- we did it on one of the hottest days of the year and it was cool and comfortable to be in the valley and the water the entire day. I promise your kids will not complain to about being bored after a day with Extreme Israel!! Date of experience: August 2015"

"Experiences you'll talk about for rest of your life Our family used Israel Extreme 2 years ago (Feb 2015) and again last week (Feb 2017). Both times we planned 2 days of activities. We are parents of 3 boys (currently 15, 18, 20 yrs old). All I can say is "wow"! We had a blast with Israel Extreme both trips. In 2015 we were in the north and rappelled and caved with Moshe at Keshet Cave and Alma Cave. The following day we hiked with Daniel at Mt. Meron, Mt. Arbel and then did ATV (4 wheeler) tour. Both days were fantastic. We were "newbies" to caving and rappelling but we felt totally safe. The adrenaline was definitely surging but that's why we still talk about the experience! This year we did activities in the Dead Sea area. Orr was our guide both days. We hiked Nachal Peres and another wadi the first day. The second day we rappelled down 100 yards down into the Salt Wonder cave near Sodom and then went spelunking through the passage that leads to an exit at the base of the salt mountain. Great fun and quite beautiful! Most important: these guys are professional, trustworthy, knowledgeable, and FUN! They do a fantastic job selecting their guides. They relate well to children, young adults and parents. They are extremely flexible regarding starting times, lunch plans, changes due to weather, etc. They will answer your questions regarding logistics, alternatives, degree of difficulty, equipment, etc well in advance of your trip. No problem at all getting prompt email responses. If you like nature, you'll create lifetime memories and be amazed at how beautiful and diverse Israel's outdoors is. "We had such a great time ! Me and my kids (ages 5 and 6) had a private tour of the Ein Tina water hike and we all had an amazing time! Their tour guide is bilingual, friendly, and very helpful. Super honest and reasonable staff. I Highly recommend this touring company. Also I am planning on going skydiving with them soon with my boyfriend. Five stars! "One of a "KIND" experience! We spent 2 days with the Israel Extreme folks this past week (Dalak, Yehuda were our tour guides). We visited the Salt Water Cave and the Nachal Rachaf. We were a group of 18 people, ages ranging from 6 to 50. Dalak and Yehuda were fantastic with their explanations on the region, answering all the curious 6 and 9 year old questions and making sure we were all safe during the activities. Highly recommend them .... and are considering asking them to help us plan future bar mitzvah trip events! Date of experience: April 2018"

"Fabulous experiences-don't miss these!!! My teenage twins and I went on the Salt Cave Wonder adventure and the Banias Nature Reserve adventure. Both trips exceeded our expectations. Guy was our guide for the Salt Cave Wonder. He is kind and welcoming and immediately gained our confidence--something very important when you are about the rappel 200 feet into a dark cave. Once we rappelled, he guided us through the cave and stopped to explain all the interesting formations etc. He was more than happy to stop for pictures, so we could show friends and family. Shahar was guide for the Banias Nature Reserve Hike. He is also a very kind and welcoming person. As soon as I met him, I knew we were going to have fun. Given all the current demonstrations in Israel, we had to make a few slight last minute changes to our meeting time, but Shahar took it in stride and kept saying "no problem." He even brought a super fresh, sweet mango which he shared during the hike. He too was also more than happy to take our picture along the routes in various scenic spots. We never felt rushed during either trip. Ho often can you say that? The trips were great, and both our guides were fabulous, but what you really need to know is that this company wants you to have a top notch experience. They will make suggestions during planning that reflect their experience so that you don't make rookie mistakes. They follow up on all details, so there were no surprises. "Via Ferrata This was my second experience with Israel Extreme, and I must say that every single member of their staff is a pleasure to work with. Their customer service is superb, and they treat you as if you are their only customer. Definitely an unusual find in Israel! (this country doesn't believe in customer service, generally). Customer service aside, the adventure tours they provide are unique and simply awesome. I have toured pretty much all of Israel, and Israel Extreme still has what to offer. My friend and I did the Via Ferrata hike/climbing above Kiryat Shemoneh. It is beautiful up there, and the hike itself is fun and challenging. There isn't much of a drop, so it was comfortable even for my friend who is afraid of heights. If you are an experienced rock climber, bring your shoes and let them know in advance that you climb:) Date of experience: January 2021"

"Mitzpe Ramon Jeep Tour a MUST We spent 10 days in Israel with our 2 kids (ages 15 and 12). The Mitzpe Ramon Jeep tour was recommended by a friend who had done it a few years ago and they were right to recommend this! It was awesome! We met our guide, Gil'ad, at the visitors center and he took us in the Jeep for a 2-hour tour throughout the makhtesh (technically not a crater or a canyon). Gil'ad gave great information and showed us a variety of visuals that really helped to see how the makhtesh was formed. The 2-hour tour was just the right amount of time for us. Kids really liked it and Gil'ad even took some awesome family pics at the top of the makhtesh that we'll definitely use for our holiday card this year! Date of experience: July 2019"

"Salt Caves Yonatan took us on a tour of the salt caves -- he is an incredible tour guide and the rappelling and hiking were unbelievable! This hike was the highlight from our trip. "Astonishing Experience in a Salt Cave This one is not for the weak-hearted. We first climbed a steep but relatively short way up from the dead sea (called the ladders way because it has lots and lots of steps). Then we put on helmets, head lamps, rapelling gear and gloves. Our guide Shmulik was highly experienced and definitely a representative of the extreme sports family! Shmulik tied us to a rope with all the necessary professional equipment and then... then we descended, one by one or two by two, into an 85 meter deep salt cove. Shmulik held the rope and all we did was glide down, look around astonished at the beauty, and of course trying not to look down... When everyone was at the bottom of this miracle, Shmulik glided down while using his strong flash light to show us the walls around. After this, for two hours, we went, sqatted, squeezed through, and crawled on our knees or abdomens (where only about 30-40cm were between the ground and the rock above us), untill we came out of the cave far away from the place where we started. All this, of course, in absolute, complete darkness. With our flashlights we could see stalactites and stalagmites made of pure white salt. We also made a stop in the middle of our journey and had some reviving coffee. At this point we felt like singing some quiet songs and could hear the echo. We are still talking about this excursion and will probably keep talking about it for many years to come. Date of experience: August 2018"

"Jeep Tour We went for a jeep tour in the Judean desert. Before booking this trip I shopped around and it appeared that this is not a usual tour. The rest of the tours all started at the same point for some reason, and all went to the same places (although the desert is wide and there are lots of jeep routes). We met our guide and jeep driver Ali near our accommodations place in Arad, which was very convenient for us. Ali first drove out of the city (making sure that everyone is holding their hat!) and then we turned off road and started the tour. On the tour Ali never stopped telling us everything around: about the settlements, about the industry around, about the terrain, about the ways people (Jewish and Bedwin) used the environment in historical times and use it today. From time to time Ali would stop the jeep, hop off and bring something to show us – a plant, a rock, an insect, or show us a skyline and explain all about it. We were very impressed with the amount of knowledge Ali had about everything. Beyond that knowledge, Ali is a professional jeep driver. He took us through places where any amateur would definitely turn over, so this added to the thrill! And when we reached the edge of the cliff – Ali treated us with a chilled whole watermelon! We were back to our cars full of amazing stories, views, knowledge about life in the desert, about bedwin traditions and of course – about jeep driving! Date of experience: August 2018"

"Sublime, thrilling experience! This was my first time skydiving, but I know it will not be my last. if you are considering taking the leap or considering this company, from my experience I highly recommend both! From start to finish it was one the most memorable experiences of my life. Customer service was outstanding, from the contact pre-jump, to the people on site, to the jump couches themselves (you will be MOST grateful to these!). The couches were all affable and humorous as we made our way to the airport and ascended to the jump height, which helped ease the tension of a first time jumper who can admit to a slight fear of heights. All the equipment felt safe and all the jump couches felt extremely professional and reassuring. But it is the free-fall itself that is really what makes this an experience you can't miss. It is an indescribable rush of strange sensations and emotions, all the while you're looking down over the Mediterranean, the Golan, the Sea of Galilee... Some people ask about the safety, or whether it's an unpleasant, fearful feeling the whole time, to which I say that the moment my feet touched ground I knew I had to do it again! "Awesome water and rappeling hike through a canyon! We went with Israel Extreme on a hike in Yehudiya Reserve, through black canyon. Throughout the whole booking process, they were extremely helpful: they helped us with transportation, places to stay the day before, and even helped us through a last minute change in reservations. "Salt Wonder Cave This was our first experience with Israel Extreme and we were very impressed. From the very beginning they explained all of our options. Their communication was excellent. We booked the Salt Wonder tour. It was a very hot day so the hike up to the cave was a little harder than we anticipated but it was so worth it! Rappelling into the dark salt cave was one of the coolest experiences we have ever had in Israel. Then crawling through the cave was another amazing experience. Although it was harder and dirtier than we expected, it was a true highlight of our trip. My kids have already asked if we can book another Extreme adventure in the future. "the Salt caves at Mount Sodom My husband and I had an amazing experience in the Salt Caves. From the 45 min. exciting trek up Mt. Sodom at 4pm to the entrance down into the belly of the Caves. It was so amazing to be lowered by a rope down into salt cave. Moshe made our experience from the beginning to the very end most interesting, exciting and most of all making us feel comfortable during our exhilerating experience. "Salt Caves I did a private tour of the salt caves with Beni for my birthday and it was incredible. If you’re able to do it solo or just with a few people, I recommend it so you have more one on one time to ask questions and to learn more. He knew a lot about climbing and the cave system so, if you have any concerns or hesitations, he’ll put your mind at ease. The cave itself was beautiful and the best part for me was rappelling down and seeing how massive the first part of the cave is and all the stripping and bands on the walls. You’re going to love it. "Hike in Ein Prat-Farah, Wadi Kelt We did an awesome amazing hike in Ein Prat-Farah, Wadi kelt. Our group of 7 adults and teens met our guide at around 10am. Got a little lost, so make sure you get accurate locations with Google maps/Waze. Benny was our guide and he was great. We hiked through unbelievable trails, sides of canyons and streams. The scenery was gorgeous with amazing aromas of mint and herbs along the way, and the hike was about a 6/10 in intensity. We climbed small sides of cliffs with handrails and skipped over streams on small rocks. We sipped hot tea made by Benny at an amazing waterfall/stream. He navigated us through this hike with ease and it took about 4 hrs total. He drove us back to the starting point to pick up our cars that we left at the end point. All in all I would do this hike again. Plan on getting a little wet. We loved it. Date of experience: January 2023"

"Amazing I was visiting Israel for a short time and wanted to do something really exciting while I was here. Yocheved at Israel Extreme was very helpful in discussing fun excursions. We considered a range of options including skydiving and several hiking/rappelling trips. Ultimately I decided on the Salt Wonder trip which was great. The salt caves were amazing to look at and encounter. We took many pictures and none of them can fully capture the natural beauty of the salt caves. The exhilaration of rappelling down 230 feet into a dark cave definitely satisfied our thirst for adrenaline. We also enjoyed crawling on our bellies as we made our way through the cave. Our guide, Nissan, was knowledgeable and experienced. I would just note that backpacks will get very dirty (along with everything else). Also, the trip is for 6 people. To maximize value a good idea to bring 6. We had 4 in our group and it worked out fine. Overall a wonderful time. Would definitely recommend. Date of experience: January 2023"

"The Bucket List Israel has been on our bucket list for years. The Israel Extreme team came highly recommended from family and friends and did not disappoint. Moshe, Daniel, and Elisheva were very helpful planning our hotels, tours and returning our many e-mails. We loved the Flying ATV’s in Jerusalem as well as our Extreme Desert Jeep tour. "Spectacular salt cave excursion Our private excursion to the Salt Caves near the Dead Sea was amazing. The highlight is definitely the other-wordily rappelling descent into the spectacularly striated 27-story-deep pure salt chimney. As somebody who is afraid of heights and who has never rappelled before, I give huge props to Beni, our guide and instructor, without whose patience I would never have been able to do this. Aside from the rappelling part, the rest of the tour is also tone of fun, with lots of scrambling over and under boulders and through twisted tunnels, and odd salt formations and crystals on display at every angle. "Absolutely Amazing Experience The Alma Caves are extraordinary. An incredible highlight of our trip. It was so much fun to rappel down and then to swing. We all loved it. "Salt Wonder Cave Tour on 26Jun23 Our guide, Nisan, was extremely friendly and helpful. The tour started with a short but steep climb up some stairways and ladders to get to the salt cave itself, then once all the safety equipment was set up we rappelled down into the cavern. Being able to see the huge cavern and then make our way through the cave system was really cool! There were a few spots where you had to kneel and/or crawl, but nothing too claustrophobic. We had a couple stops for water or photos, and once just to feel the darkness and silence of the caves. A truly spectacular experience! Date of experience: June 2023"

"Rapelling at Keshet Cave & Exploring Ma'arat Namer I just want to send everyone who helped us at Israel Extreme a big, big THANK YOU. We had a really great time every step of the way. From the first contact with Israel Extreme to the actual adventure, everyone was extremely helpful. Daniel was a perfect guide - calm, kind, patient, intelligent - and had interesting "extras" like stories, riddles, tea and chocolate, and a very nice personality. We expected our 18, 17, and 15 year old children to have no problem with the rappelling, but our 10 and 12 year olds (and their parents!) were not planning to be as brave. With Daniel's confidence and clear instructions, we all rappelled off the arch! The hike back was gorgeous and fun (even got to hold baby goats) and the next stop, Namer Cave was also unique. The cave was beautiful with stalactites and stalagmites that we could touch! With Daniel as our outstanding tour guide, we got the whole package. "Great tours and company We did 3 tours with Israel Extreme-Salt Wonder, Black Gorge and Paragliding in Tel Aviv. All of the tours went like clockwork. We received detailed information before hand about what was needed for each tour. As promised, the night before each tour we got a call from the guide to confirm logistics and meeting place. It was very easy. The three tours were fun as well. The Salt Wonder cave has a very long (and fun rappel) then exploration of the cave (there is a lot of army crawling at the end-so be warned about that). The Black Gorge was a super fun hike with rappelling through waterfalls (our personal favorite). Paragliding was very fun as well (for you Disney people, it’s like Soarin’-only real). The pilot will make the ride as calm as you want (or add some swings and swoops if that is more your thing) and you will see beautiful scenery. All in all whatever you decide to do, if you do it with Israel Extreme your tour will go perfectly. Date of experience: July 2019"

"Lebanon border and horse riding I honestly couldn't say which tour was better - so different and both excellent. Our Lebanon border tour guide gave us very personal insights into the whole situation, arranged for us to speak to the soldiers guarding the place, knew everything on local flora and fauna and took us to the best falafel place ever. The scenery of the horse riding was stunning, above the sea of gallilee, and we had two guides for the four of us, who took excellent care of us novices. The horses were gentle, knew their way and did what we 'told' them to do. Our guide was even happy to dance around us and take photos and a video. That Sunday was definitely the highlight of our Israel trip, i xannit recommend these tours highly enough! Date of experience: April 2019"

"Buggy Tour We've booked a 2-hour buggy tour in Nachal Dishon. Including a shuttle from our hotel in Haifa to the terrain in Dishon. When we arrived they welcomed us very friendly and after paying the balance and getting a short instruction by the vehicles we started with a cool tourguide. And after the first 3 seconds we knowed, that this tour will be one of the greatest things we've done in Israel. We stopped during the tour and our tourguide made us some excellent coffee and we have some breathtaking view to Libanon and the border area of Israel and Libanon. "Amazing experience and a lesson in conquering fears!! My family literally conquered our fears by rappelling at Nachal Jiluban. Our family had only been rappelling one time before this and it was quite minimal, but we were looking for adventure so we went for it. Our guide, Lyle, was AMAZING! He was beyond patient and understood how to ease my fear and my 8 year old's fear with excellent instruction, gentle encouragement and "baby steps." After a short walk through gorgeous vegetation and listening to the sounds of nature all around us, we reached the first waterfall. I was hesitant, but Lyle talked me through it and I soon found myself in the water with my 13 year old son and husband. I was sure that my 8 year old daughter would never be willing to rappel, but before I knew it, she was headed down the waterfall. I don't know what Lyle told her, but he worked a miracle. What a life lesson in conquering fears! This first waterfall was a perfect way to get acquainted with the activity before moving on to the 50m waterfall. We hiked for a short while before taking a snack break. While we did bring our own snacks, Lyle surprised us with brewed Turkish coffee and some tea for us, as well as offering us fresh fruit. Soon we made it to the second waterfall which is about 50m high. I really thought I wouldn't go down this waterfall. This is where Lyle's encouragement to take "baby steps" came in and soon I was rappelling down, down, down. My 8 year old did not choose to rappel this time and my husband and I agreed that this waterfall may have been a bit too much for her had she tried it. I think a child of at least 10 years old is best for this high of a waterfall. Lyle captured photos of us from the top while we descended, which allowed us to focus on getting down instead of capturing the moment. Onlookers who were enjoying a picnic at the larger waterfall cheered us on. It felt great to come down and hear all that support. I am so grateful for this experience. While I'm not sure I really enjoy rappelling enough to do this kind of extreme adventure again, showing my children that we can do hard things made it all worth it. Tips and recommendations: 1. Do know that although the hiking portion is short, it is steep and quite slippery on the rocks once your shoes are wet. We live in Colorado and hike a lot in all kinds of mountain environments. This hike reminded me of the hikes we do back home. 2. Wear backpacks that are comfortable for hiking with a lot of water, snacks and rappelling gear attached. We were grateful that we brought our hiking backpacks with us. We each took two 1.5 liter bottles of water, which was plenty. 3. We did not use a dry bag, but did double and triple Ziploc bag almost every snack and item we brought. It worked perfectly. 4. Snacks: since we wanted easy, compact snacks, we brought hard boiled eggs, protein bars, lots of dried fruit and trail mix. It was more than enough. 5. Have a comfortable rappeller go down first so that they can take videos and pictures of the rest of the group as you descend. They may be waiting a while for the next person to go if anyone is hesitant like me and my daughter. 6. Know that rappelling is optional - there is always a way up and own via hiking!! We visited the Salt Wonder where we rappelled 80 feet down the most beautiful salt cave I have ever seen. Then we worked our way out exploring the cave. The second day we explored the canyon called Nachal Rahav... next to Masada. We rappelled down the rocks 6 times. We felt extremely safe by the professionalism our guides demonstrated. "Caving My daughter and I (she's 27) did the Abirim cave with Moshe as our guide. It was spectacular! We repelled down from a small opening on the surface and found one amazing location after another inside. Salamanders, stalactites, stalagmites, the whole thing. More rappelling inside and some crawling and squeezing through openings but it was great fun and absolutely worth it. A completely unique experience. "Favorite activity after 3 weeks touring Israel from top to bottom. After a 3 week trip covering Israel from top to bottom my wife, 14 year old teen, and I all agreed rappelling and hiking the Salt Cave was our favorite experience. This tour can be done by practically anyone. My wife and I are in our 40's/50's and not in the most athletic shape, but we successfully navigated the 30 minute climb up a bunch of stairs to the cave entrance, rappelled down 80 meters, and then hiked/climbed/crawled our way out of the cave. The cavern was beautiful, the cave hike was fun. This is NOT for people who can't handle heights or small spaces though. Rappelling was really neat and none of us had done it before. The cavern hike required a lot of maneuvering to get around salt formations and a few spots we had to crawl on our bellies while pushing our back backs in front of us. Wear pants and clothes you don't care if they get filthy. This was such a unique and awesome experience and we will never forget it. I can't imagine finding a tour this neat or unique ever again. "Our kids’ favorite experience in Israel! What an epic experience. Our family of 5 (3 boys ages 12, 12, and 8) did the Salt Wonder Tour. The whole reservation process was thoughtful and professional leading up to our trip, and the check in the day before was great. We had a driver pick us up and then our fantastic guide, Nisan, to drive to the Salt Wonder Tour. There was a short but steep hike to the top, and then two repels, one short and one 250 feet into darkness. Nisan made sure all of us felt comfortable and safe at every moment. We are all super active and fairly fit, and I’ll say sit was a bit challenging at the end squeezing through such tight spaces. Luckily no one in my family is claustrophobic! So far, this has been my kids favorite experience/tour in Israel. It is so unique, exhilarating, yet still educational. "Black Canyon HIke - Highlight of our trip We booked this intense hike with Israel Extreme. It was my husband and with our 4 kids. (17, 15, 9,7). I was so nervous, but it was going to be a long hike but it involved some extreme activities like repelling and jumping in a cliff. I thought my kids would complain the whole time, but it as the opposite. They loved every second of it. They loved the challenge, the thrill and their accomplishment. Our guide Daniel was the most awesome. He was patient and so much fun to be with. He dealt with the little two so beautifully that they never not once complained. "Nakik Hashachor and Abirim Cave My daughter and I were in Israel for work and for play and reached out to Israel Extreme for a different view of Israel. We had been to most of the known tourist sites - Masada, Dead Sea, etc. on previous trips and wanted to see the incredible geographic variety in this little country. After speaking to the INCREDIBLY HELPFUL staff, we chose two different tours - an extremely challenging Nakik Hashachor where we hiked, repelled and cliff jumped. The vistas were breathtaking. Our guide - Menachem was AMAZING. Made us coffee along the way and really made us feel safe and secure as we repelled down waterfalls and jumped into pools of water. The Abirim Cave gave us a completely different view of Israel. This absolutely incredible spelunking tour starts by crawling into small non-descript hole in the ground and then our guide lowered us 100 meters down into the most amazing stalactite and stalagmite cave. "Exhilarating Adventure!!! My 16 yo son and I wanted an adventure. We gave Daniel from IE one day advance notice, but he still showed us different options and promised to do his best to accommodate us. And that he did. We booked the Alma cave. In part because it’s a shorter trip and much of the site is shaded and cool, which is obviously nice in the summer. Also, this site gives you plenty of ‘outs’ if you chicken out. The process of signing up was straight-forward, professional and fast and soon Daniel set us up with an excellent guide (Shachar). I had to overcome my own fear of heights and claustrophobia, but somehow both vanished with the expert, non-pressure guidance of Shachar. My son is even more risk-averse than me. But he and I both did the rappelling and the swing. He decided not to enter the inner cave. I did. Importantly, we went in not committed to any of the activities, knowing we had plenty of ‘outs’. But we progressed at our own pace and decided to move forward once we got comfortable with the guide and the safety procedures. On reflection, I’d say that you want to be in decent shape for some of the activities—like going into the inner cave and climbing back up. I’d also recommend good shoes with a good grip. "Black Canyon Trip We did a full day canyoning trip in the Black Canyon wth Daniel as our guide. It was overall an amazing trip from beginning to end. We were a family of five, ages 17-72. But do not let the ages make you think it was easy. It was definitely a challenging hike. There is no trail so you are climbing over a lot of boulders and must pay attention at all times. The repelling was amazing and the water was so refreshing since it was a hot day. I cannot say enough about how great Daniel was. He was nice, patient, and interesting. "Highlight of Our Trip This year I decided to take along my two grandsons aged 17 to Israel for the Sukut Holiday. We traveled al over Israel, from north to south, but I was looking for something, an activity that they will never forget, I mean for the rest of their lifetime. I spent many hours searching, until I came upon this Israel Extreme sight. Like all other sites I sent an email requesting information and prices for the activities they advertised. The next day I received a phone call from Daniel, outlining my 3 options. I immediately fell for option 1 the “ Salt Wonder” , a little expensive at the first glance, but if you consider that it’s 5 hours with a private guide, it’s actually a great price. We set up a 10:00 am meeting, we met our guide “Shay” who explained to us what we will be doing, and off we went. What transpired the next 4 hours is something that you must experience on your own, the adrenaline was pumping in high gear, we had the greatest time of our life. At one resting point “Shay” took out a tiny liquid canister stove, and boiled a large cup of Turkish coffee, and offered us chocolate wafers, and a cup of delicious coffee, it was so good there was no need for any sweetener. Shay was as patient as could be, we are far from being athletic, but with his encouragement we pulled through with flying colors. We were laughing, the entire trip not knowing what other challenges are coming up around the next corner. This was a really amazing experience, we were doing things that I couldn’t imagine being able to do. This is one tour that you can only experience in Israel, and only with Israel Extreme A must do!! That included a morning of paragliding with Roman and his 2 assistants piloting and a different day kayaking with Gilad and his 2 brothers. Our youngest is 12 and she was thrilled to paraglide. I was thrilled with the professionalism and safety of the crew. When it came to kayaking, our youngest was 15 years old and had never been in a kayak. Unlike a raft, you have to guide yourself down the river. The instructions were thorough and included 4 separate skills each of which was taught then each person had to demonstrate the skill. "Beauty and adventure in the desert. We took two days with a very knowledgeable , patient and friendly guide from Israel Extreme. The first day we went abseiling in Nahal Tamar and everything was set up professionally and safely. We then crossed over to Nahal ztafit which some of our kids found more challenging than they had expected - so we abandoned the second part of the hike. Our guide was kind, and understanding and made every effort to find an alternative option. We finished off in a hidden spring which was delightful and a fun ending to the day. The next day we went to a large canyon and bathed in another watering hole. We learned about the history and geology of the area. We also found a huge sand dune to climb and walked along a cliff path over looking Maale Palmach. It was awesome. I highly recommend the services of Israel Extreme. We did this trip literally on the morning of our return flight to Sydney that same night and, something probably most families wouldn't do... We flew home only a few hours after we got back from the trip... Our guide Zvi was great, he helped us lots and lots with our little 6 year old girl, he did an amazing job with taking her down the abseiling as well as walking with her on the rocks and carried her all the way up the hill, so strong and we could not have made our flight without his help!!! "Nahal Darja - Not for the faint hearted! What an unbelievable experience for our group of friends. This hike is a true right of passage for extreme hikers in Israel! Israel Extreme made it all happen! Was very easy to book and the requirements of the hike were all explained to us very clearly. It was an intense 7.5 hour trek through rock gorges, over boulders, down slippery rock slides, up metal rung ladders, down metal rung ladders, through multiple pools of water, aided by ropes along the way. We were at the end of the season so the water was slightly dubious in places, but we battled on like troopers! "Hiking at Nachal Amud and climbing in Alma Cave Our family had an incredible time experiencing the nature of northern Israel with Israel Extreme! First, we went on a hike at Nachal Amud. Our guide was very professional, open-minded and paid attention to all of us! After the three-hour hike, we visited the grave of an old rabbi, which was actually not a part of the arranged tour. We really appreciated the guide taking initiative to do something we hadn’t planned. In the late afternoon we went to a park where the guide prepared a very tasty (and healthy!) meal for us, before we went to the Alma Cave to crawl. Even though the cave diving was very challenging for some of us, the guide handled it very professionally and we ended up having a great day! Israel Extreme was very easy to cooperate with. The whole planning of the trip was made from our home, before the journey to Israel. There were no problems of any kind during the planning, the day in the nature or afterwards. "Unique exciting experience with 3 sons & parents! We had a wonderful adventure to the salt caves including a hike up a mountain, a long rappel into salt cave and climbing through the caves. "Great Fun with the Via Ferrata Great fun with the Via Ferrata. I did the Via Ferrata trip which involves rappelling, a Via Ferrata and rock climbing. A via Ferrata is basically assisted rock climbing, where there are metal rungs bolted into the rock to aid you. It enables you to climb vertical rock even if you are not a skilled rock climber. The views over the Hula Valley are amazing. The rock climbing location is perfect. There are many options for all skill levels. It’s a perfect place for a beginner to try rock climbing. My guide was Moskiko, who was great. I have some rock climbing experience, but I’m not particularly good at it. Moshiko challenged me with some difficult (for me) climbs and then we finished with an easier climb to cap off a great day. He then forwarded me some amazing pictures. I highly recommend this. "Extremely Great Israel Extreme organised a couple of days in the north of Israel packed with fun and excitement. Our guides Adar and Noam were engrossing with serious historical knowledge and we felt completely safe in their hands. Our main activities were Rappelling, Via Ferrata and Spelunking which were fantastic experiences that will be cherished by us. My teenage children particularly enjoyed chatting with the guides about their experiences growing up in Israel and other anecdotes from their travels. Further, both were fun, a pleasure to spend time with and were extremely helpful during our stay in the North. In addition, Israel Extreme are very professional. My queries, I had plenty, were all answered clearly with supporting documentation in a timely fashion. We are frequent visitors to Israel but this was one of our best trips due to the activities organised by Israel Extreme. "Beyond expectations ....WAY beyond! We were a 12 year old boy, 10 year old girl, and a nervous dad. Our guide, Betachya, met us in Jerusalem where we rented a car and drove into the middle of nowhere. (We were doing Fox's Chimney activity.) We suited up and headed up the long steep climb - and then repelled down a craggy drop - "just lean back" Betachya told me - YOU just lean back! I nervously joked. I gave in and so did the kids and the rush of the experience began. We did 2 repells, walked through pitch black caves, and crawled on our bellies through tight spots -it was awesome. Betachya was fantastic, his enjoyment increased ours -nothing jaded or tired about him or his leading the day. The first time I spoke with Moshe - the owner - I was struck by his passion as he described the different activities. Chana from the office was extremely patient and helpful as I worked to coordinate this with the other activities of our trip. "Horse Back Riding Israel Extreme has a bunch of activities that we were browsing through on their website. So when we came across the horseback riding option, I was ecstatic. Im an experienced rider, but my SO had never ridden before. We went on the Half day tour around the beautiful Kineret. It was quite obvious the tour guide REALLY knew what he was doing. Less experienced riders might not realize it, but its true. We were riding horses up and down rocky hills, trotting, cantering, the whole nine yards. I would not recommend the Half tour unless you are in great shape, and definitely not in the summer. There is a minor break in the middle where you can walk in the water where your horse has already gone and drank from. (the Kineret is a fresh water source). By the end, both my SO and I were exhausted even though we are both in good shape and training for army service. While someone inexperienced can ride during the half day tour, I would not recommend it. All in all, Israel extreme was attentive, helpful and polite. I would definitely contract through them again. "Phenomenal Adventure & Outstanding Service Israel Extreme not only provided an exciting adventure for me and my team, but they showed a level of service that met my high standards as a former Customer Service Manager in the USA. We planned a whole day with a Hot-air Balloon in the morning with an amazing breakfast, then a water hike through Zaki trail, next to explore Keshet cave, and finally an absolutely incredible Moroccan dinner! It was not the cheapest trip I have ever planned, but it was definitely worth every penny and would do it again in a heartbeat. "Really wonderful memorable experiences with Israel Extreme We recently did two tours with Israel Extreme. Daniel and his team was very helpful when planning the tours. We chose the abseiling at Keshet Cave and the IDF Jeep tour. We loved both tours. The guides were amazing and very knowledgeable. We had a scary abseiling experience on a recent trip to Africa and my son was not happy when he saw what we were doing. Yaniv at Keshet Cave was amazing in helping us feel comfortable with the abseiling experience and my son loved it. Thank you for renewing my sons love of abseiling. Yaniv was also wonderful in how he interacted with my children. We also loved Yaniv and the IDF tour. His love and passion for what he does and who he is and where he comes from really shines through in all interactions with him. We were mesmerised and everyone was asking so many questions. "Hulah Valley fun Izy was an amazing tour guide. We did the 4 hour Jeep tour in the Hulah Valley. He showed us the landscapes, shared the history and helped us understand the region that he lives in.
